Did you know that a small leak in your roof unchecked can go on to cause significant damage to your home?

Its true. A small leak may not seem like a big deal, but the truth is water can enter a roof for years without being noticed. A small leak can be absorbed by a truss for years until it finally starts to show symptoms of stains bleeding through the drywall. By the time you can spot that leak from the inside its most likely caused the truss to begin to rot and saturated attic insulation.

Saving money and delaying the repairs rarely works out to be the money saver we want it to be. In most cases it actually leads greater costs and more extensive damages. Have a qualified professional check it out.

Common roof problems

stem valve vent replacement

Go from horrible and failing stem valve on the left, to a cleanly installed functional stem valve on the right.

Aditional replacements include:

Pipe boot flashings, metal vents, ridge vent, ridge caps, shingle, skylights and more

Ventilation issues

Inadequate or absent ventilation causes moisture buildup, leading to rot in plywood, insulation, and fascia. This can result in mold, mildew, and costly truss and sheathing replacements, often unnoticed until extensive damage occurs.

Sheathing Replacement

Damages to sheathing can happen for any number of reasons. Whatever the reason, we'll get you patched up.

Hidden water damage

Undetected leaks can damage insulation, drywall, and structural components.

Chasing leaks can be tricky. We aways start from the bottom and troubleshoot our way up deck. Sometimes it can multiple things coming together at once

skylight repairs

When I came upon this poor skylight it was a mess I mean it was horrible. It was leaking from every which way The glass on top was completely unsealed The 2x4 frame holding it up Fake. Not even real boards and they were rotted out. The drywall was no good. Everything had to go.

I had to strip her down to bare plywood and start from scratch. Rebuilt the 2X4 framing. Dried it in with ice shield. Install new shingles and all new flashing. And just like that this thing had come back to life again. What a game changer.

Roof Repairs: Dead Valley Negative Drainage

This pinch point of a valley where the water just couldn't seem to flow out was an obvious design flaw. You'd be surprised how often these things happen. We ripped out the old shingles and got that area stripped down to plywood. Once all that junk's out of our way,  switch gear fix the slope.

We build out that bottom area that had been holding water for years now to change the flow of the roof drainage.

One of the most important things about water on a roof is that it needs to be able to flow down and off the roof without resistance. The harder the path off the roof is the greater the chances of the water choosing its own path.

The drainage now altered and a positive flow set it was time for reinstalling. Cover the new decking with ice shield and then I'll slice into the original ice shield and get behind that stuff with the new ice shield making sure everything overlaps properly. Install shingle and tie in the old shingles.
